Faversham House offers 2 types of accommodation:

These gracious rooms are all located on the first floor of the main house and were the original family bedrooms. All are spacious, decorated in individual style and furnished with antiques. Tea & coffee making facilities are available in all rooms as well as in the Drawing Room.

Several mansion rooms will twin ($15 charge) - please ask when booking.

King size bedroom with ensuite. These rooms open directly onto the verandah. Enjoy a morning coffee watching the birds or late night drink admiring the starry sky.

Long weekends and weekends with special York events scheduled have a two night minimum if booking includes Saturday.

All the above tariffs include scrumptious country style breakfast of homemade breads, muesli and poached fruit – and Nola’s famous jams and lemon butter. A full cooked breakfast with free range eggs available for $15 - please request with booking.

Faversham House has a spacious front balcony with fabulous views. You may choose to sit out and enjoy a conversation with the many native birds that visit the gardens, or at night, observe the wondrous starry skies.

Stay a couple of days and revive your spirits in the spacious Drawing Room with log fires and Library stocked with an eclectic mix of history, antiques and art reference or fiction books. Faversham House is within easy walking distance of the historic attractions and restaurants in town.

Booking Conditions

A credit card number is required to make an accommodation booking. No charges will be applied until the date of your stay. We accept payment by Visa or Mastercard credit cards, EFTPOS and cash. Credit card payments attract a 2% surcharge for this service.

There is a 48 hour cancellation policy for weekend bookings and 24 hours for weekday bookings and we reserve the right to charge your credit card the full amount should you cancel or substantially reduce your booking within these timings.

Upon quoting your credit card details you are verbally agreeing to our booking conditions.
